How can we engage hundreds of thousands of students and educators around the world in discussions about climate change, climate solutions and climate justice? The Bard College (US) Center for Environmental Policy and its partners including the ESSCA University School of Management are organizing the Worldwide Teach-in on Climate and Justice. On March 30, 2022 hundreds of universities, colleges and secondary schools around the world will hold campus-based events. The Teach-In involves educators across the disciplines: artists and philosophers, economists and chemists, psychologists and business professors. On every campus in the world there are many climate-concerned, often non-expert faculty who will be eager to participate.
This interactive session will introduce the project and discuss strategies and opportunities for students to engage their institution and community in this global project.
